transformations

Some artists are perfectly content to sit in a room, alone with their creativity.  I was one of them...
That was before I found face painting.

Hi, I'm Cindy, and you are about to embark on a journey with me.  Where fairy dust is for real, Children don't fly but their hearts leap with excitement and their imaginations soar as they are transformed into the character of their choice.

Watch as your child is painted like a super hero, tiger, cat, dog, butterfly or princess.  There is something magical that happens when they look in a mirror and go right into character with a growl or a bark.

It's not just for children.  Adults love to be painted too!  It is fun and exciting to have an evening out when you have just been painted with a sophisticated eye design or a rose placed in just the right spot to add pizazz to that little black dress.
My love for painting started very early.  The first experience I had was to be able to paint a mural at my school.  I was hooked.  There is just something about taking a three dimensional subject and recreating it on a flat surface that pulls you.

Nothing has given me as much back as face painting.  I didn't know there was such a thing until my church asked me to paint at a community event.  The reward I got from painting that first face was a smile as bright as the sun that day.  I love being able to have a conversation with the subject of my artwork...
Canvas does not talk back.

Thanks to my husband, who has always been my greatest supporter, I have part with a group of people who share my passion.
